Basic usage
Click on the map to add route points. Points can be dragged; you can insert a point between two points by clicking on the line. Zoom in to display the Squairs grid. If you are logged in, you can enable the My Squairs layer.
Turnpoint radius (circle)
Each point has an adjustable radius in metres (100 m to 5 km). It is shown on the map as a transparent circle around the point.
- Default radius – applies to newly added points; the value is saved in the browser and will remain on your next visit.
- Per point – in the points list you can choose a different radius for each point in the select.
Import (upload)
With the Upload GPX / XCTask button or by dragging a file onto the Export / Upload card you can load a route from a file:
- GPX – route points are loaded from route (
<rte> with <rtept>) or from track (<trk> with <trkpt>). Track is allowed only if it has at most 50 points.
- XCTask – loads turnpoints including radii.
- Where the file does not contain radii, the default radius from the select is used.
Export
From two points you can export:
- GPX – route including radii in an extension on each point.
- XCTask – task with turnpoint radii in metres for apps like XCTrack.
